The mission statement for American Legion Walker Bailey POST 205 under my command for the next two years is as follows:
To vigorously support local veterans whether it be emotional or financial as well as increasing our invaluable Honor Guard participation to honor those veterans who have passed on.

To continue the renovation and beautification of our Veterans Hall and regain its former glory as a place to be proud of for all community members to enjoy.

To increase the monetary value of our scholarships to local High School Seniors who are planning to attend college or trade schools.

To continue our generous support of youth sports, and scouting,  while promoting good citizenship.

To respect our fellow veterans and citizens to make this community a better place to live and work.
These will be our Five Pillars of Service.
